The downloader works with publicly accessible posts, Spaces, and broadcasts. These are the practical limits you may run into:
Protected accounts, private Spaces, and subscriber-only posts cannot be downloaded. The service never asks for your X login, and you should never give your password to a download tool.
If the creator deletes a post or Space, or its replay window closes, the media is no longer available to download. Save important recordings soon after they air.
A live Space is recorded as it happens, so a two-hour Space takes about two hours to capture. Spaces and broadcasts can run for up to 12 hours; downloads from regular posts stop after 2 hours.
MP3 files are encoded at 192 kbps. Clips without sound, including most GIFs, cannot be converted to audio; download them as video instead.
Finished files are deleted from our servers about an hour after they are ready. The completion card shows the exact expiry time. Paste the link again if you miss it.
Each download is limited to 5 GB. That is far more than a typical video. Very long broadcasts in high quality can reach it, so choose Audio if you only need the sound.
People use this tool to keep copies of their own Spaces and videos, to save interviews and discussions they have permission to reference, and to preserve public statements for research, reporting, or accessibility. Downloading a file does not transfer any rights to it. Only save content that you created, have permission to use, or may lawfully use where you live, and credit creators when you share their work.
